What is Forged Metal Polish?
Forged metal polish is a type of metal polish that is designed for forged or billet wheels. It is used to clean, shine , and protect aluminum wheels. These products help to maintain shine or that polished wet look between polishing sessions. Forged metal polishes contain a mild abrasive that is suitable and appropriate to use on softer aluminum. This product also works to prevent any oxidation or sun damage from UV rays while also providing a clean and shiny surface.
What Ingredients are in Forged Metal Polish?
Formulation and ingredients may vary by manufacturers, but some common chemicals you can find in forged metal polishes are
- Mild abrasives can be found in this product to remove dirt, oxidation, grime, or other particles. Common abrasives are aluminum oxide or silicon carbide.
- Solvents, such as isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or mineral spirits, help to dissolve surface contaminants.
- Surfactants may also be added to forged metal polishes to aid in the application process and reduce tension on the surface. Types of surfactants are alkylbenzenesulfonates or ethoxylated alcohols.
- Lubricants help to prevent scratches that may occur in the polishing process because it reduces friction between the metal and abrasives. Types of lubricants in forged metal polishes are mineral oil, silicone oil, or synthetic oils.
- Corrosion inhibitors help from damage such as oxidation or corrosion. Waxes, polymers, or corrosion-resistant compounds are types of inhibitors you may find in these products.

Wheel & Tire Package Orders
All wheel and tire packages are assembled and mounted at our shop before shipping to you.
Because these packages are custom assembled, please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for wheel manufacturing and delivery to us before assembly and shipment.
Once your order ships from our shop, estimated transit times are:
- Commercial Address Delivery: 3–5 business days
- Residential Address Delivery: 3–8 business days
Shipping Rates for Wheel & Tire Packages
Due to the size and freight nature of mounted wheel and tire packages, the following flat-rate shipping fees apply:
Commercial Address Delivery: $300
(Recommended for lower shipping cost and faster freight delivery)
Residential Door Delivery: $500
To qualify for commercial shipping rates, the shipping address must be a verified commercial location with freight access.
Important: If a commercial address is selected at checkout and the freight carrier determines the address is residential or non-commercial, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges prior to delivery.
Packaging
Wheel and tire packages are professionally wrapped, protected, and secured on a pallet for freight shipment to ensure safe delivery.
Wheel-Only Orders
Orders for wheels only will typically ship directly from the manufacturer to the customer.
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for manufacturing and order processing, as most wheels are built to order.
Shipping Rates for Wheel-Only Orders
Shipping rates for wheel-only orders remain the same:
Commercial Address Delivery: $300
Residential Door Delivery: $500
Transit times may vary depending on manufacturer location and freight carrier scheduling.
Please inspect all shipments upon arrival. If there is any visible damage, note it with the delivery driver before signing and contact us immediately.
